A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words

Thirteen days have passed since my last blog post...and I have enjoyed every single one of them. Maine Dad was out of the country for work for two weeks and I was holding down the fort: working, cleaning and tending to Maine Girl and Maine Baby. With our house on the market, I had two showings with less than 24 hours notice for both (crazy requests and I will not request this from any seller EVER). busy busy busy Needless to say, I have a whole new appreciation for the hand that Maine Dad plays in our household. With Maine Dad back in country, I will finally be able to reclaim some "me" time to post again regularly.

Somehow I have managed to put a dent in Maine Girl and Maine Baby's scrapbooks (as previously noted as "neglected" in a prior post). Looking over old photos of Maine Girl I couldn't help but wonder, as all mom's do, "Where has the time gone?". There were so many snapshots that brought smiles to my face. One in particular truly captures her toddler years. The messy face, interesting expression and dazed look in her eyes still warms my heart. One of my all time faves. It is funny how the professional photo shoots turn out amazing pictures but it is the unexpected candids that always capture my heart and cover the fridge. With Maine Baby now on solid food...there are many more fun pics of messy faces and hilarious facial expressions to capture. Just thought I would share one of my favorites with you. Feel free to share yours...I mean, who can resist a baby face?
