Tackling the Life List

As some of you may have seen, I recently compiled my a list of 100 things to do before I go...it's called my Life List. It took me quite some time to finish it, but I'm now finally getting excited about starting to tackle it. I will provide updates (completions/fails), requests and pleas associated with the list as they happen. The first two items I have decided to tackle:

#7: Read The Iliad & The Odyssey by Homer

and

#34: Listen to 1.000 new songs

I figure listening to 1,000 new songs will take some time and lots of effort so I better get that one started right away! In fact, I've already started writing down new songs that I've listened to. So far, I've got three:
  • Adele: Rolling in the Deep
  • Christina Perri: Arms
  • Zac Brown Band: A Different Kind of Fine
I typically listen to Top 20 music and newer country. Any other suggestions? I have a LONG way to go!

Just downloaded The Iliad and Odyssey to my Kindle and hope to find "me" time to cross those off this week. I believe these were both required reading in high school that I never completed. (instead opting for Cliffs Notes...shame shame, I know). Better late than never Mrs. Farthing (my 10th grade English teacher)!

Have any of you started your own Life List? If so, I would love to know what you did/didn't include. Shoot me a message or share here with everyone.

Have a great weekend!
